Actually Jadavpur University is very good for chemical engineering,  you need not to worry regarding that. Jadavpur has the best team of faculty members.
Students there are enthusiasts in research related work and evironment is very productive.Not only does this institute excell in academics but also in various extra curricular activities.Last but not the least this institute has decent placements with students being selected in different multinational companies like google,honeywell,goldman sachs .

I don't remember the exact number,bt it was
around 12 who joined PSU's.

Ps:-Some of our seniors went for higher
educations also.

This year's placement has also started and
already 12 have been placed in core sectors
with total place count around 35. Almost a
whole year is still left.Let's feel the JU's chemical engineering placements.

Jadavpur University is a public state university located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.The National Institutional Ranking Framework has ranked it 14th among engineering institutes in India in 2019, 13th overall and 6th among universities. The University achieved complete academic autonomy status from the UGC in 2018.. Placements and job opportunities are very good average package of the campus is almost 5 lakh per annum across 16 departments of is the highest is of Computer Science and Engineering department which is almost 19 lakh per annum that's a very striking figure. Test for internship, various interviews are taken in the third year. Recently one of my seniors is selected for internship in TATA STEEL . Many reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, L&T , Adobe, etc come here for interviews for placements and internship. For internship stipend varies across companies.
