First and foremost, UPES has a name for its domain-focused MBA, and the domain-focused MBA are excellent. You can achieve marvels and have a solid ROI if you seek an MBA in oil and gas, power management, or energy trading (in this order of ranking for ROI). Other MBA programmes are industry-specific as well, although placements are poor.

In 2015, the top package for oil and gas, electricity, and energy trading was 14 lacs, 11 lacs, and 10 lacs, respectively. This year, the highest package for oil and gas and power is 8 lacs and 7 lacs for ET so far, with many more firms in the pipeline.

Apart from that, because of the presence of legal, management, engineering, and design background students at UPES, you will have a diverse knowledge base with which to communicate.
