Jadavpur University, Kolkata for Chemical engineering:

Placement of 2018 batch is awesome. In this college, Chemical Engineering placement is next to computer Science. Far better placement than Mechanical. UOP Honeywell, Vendant Resources, Carin India, L&T, Reliance Petroleum, Bharat petroleum, Haldia Petroleum, HSBC Bank, ZS Associates, Actors India Limited etc. Company placed almost 100% of batch Strength, Some students got double, triple packages. The highest amount of package is 18LPA.

Jadavpur University's Chemical Engineering department is One of the oldest departments in the world and the oldest is India and second the oldest in Asia. The department has infrastructure better than IIT Kgp and IIT Gowhati. Jadavpur University's Chemical Engineering is awarded by NAAC for best research facility.

Almost all facilities are passed their UG from Jadavpur University and Completed their PG and Ph.D. degree from Top IITs. Some of the faculty members passed their post graduate degree from California University, Sandford University.
