Jadavpur university is a government university located in Kolkata. It has been ranked 14th among engineering institutes in India in 2019 by NIRF(national institutional ranking framework).

PLACEMENT - The college is very good in terms of placements. About 70-80% students are placed every year and some of the students go for higher studies. Companies like Indian Oil, BPCL, ONGC, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Vedanta, Honeywell, etc., visit the campus for placements of the chemical engineering department.

INFRASTRUCTURE - The infrastructure of the college is good but a little old. The labs are equipped with all the modern facilities. The Jadavpur university's chemical engineering department is one of the oldest in India.

FACULTY - The teachers of the college are well-qualified and have great knowledge. They are helpful and very supportive.
