Chemical engineering is one of the best branches of Jadhavpur University. The research facilities, faculties etc. are very good. It surpass some of NIT's as well as NIT's. 

It has around 100% placements. Out which 50-55% students are placed in core jobs and rest gets offers from software companies and non core sector. 

Overall it is a very good institute.
