The placement records of Army Institute of Technology,  Pune is very good. Around 80 - 85 % students get placed every year from this institute.

Talking about the placements of 2018-19, then 245 students out of 272 were placed with a placement percentage of 90%. From Mechanical Engineering, 43 students were placed with a placement percentage of 77% and from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, 122 students were placed with a placement percentage of 88% in the open campus drive. The highest package offered was INR 39 Lakhs per annum with a Median package of INR 7.15 Lakhs per annum.

Talking about placements of 2017-18, total 262 candidates were placed out of 283 with a placement percentage of 93%. The highest package offered was INR 39 Lakhs per annum with a median package of INR 5 Lakhs per annum. From Mechanical engineering, 50 students were placed with a placement percentage of 88% and from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, 99 students were placed with a placement percentage of 92%
