UVCE comes in the top list of engineering colleges in Karnataka and you need a good KCET rank to get in there. Hence, the student crowd would be a set of meritorious ones.

Faculty is great- most of them have PhD and have teaching experience too. You cannot find any college with 100% good teachers. It is how you study that matters in the end. Fees here is affordable, you can expect to cover 4 years in less than Rs. 2 lakhs expense. Coming to placements, they are pretty decent with both core and software companies hiring ECE graduates. Average package would be around 5 Laks per annum.

BITS Mesra is among the reputed private colleges in the country. The fees would be high (around Rs. 12 lakh for four years) but you can be guaranteed abt the study quality and placements. Good core and software companies also visit here. Recruitment statistics are impressive, with average package of over 8 lakh per annum. The ECE course here is a little too vast and would involve much toil and hardwork.
