Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) is a Private Institute located in Mesra, Ranchi and was established in the year 1955. BIT Mesra is Deemed to be the University. BIT Mesra is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university offers various UG and PG courses in addition to Ph.D. and M.Phil. Research courses. It is also Deemed to be University .Apart from that they are providing placement facilities for aspirants with highest package of 27 lakhs with minimum package of 6 .5 lpa and top recruiters companies are adani power ,maaruti suzuki ,amazon ,tvs motors and many more but if we go through B.Arch then placement is not very well .Apart from that everything good like infrastructure ,well teaching with modern class room and experience faculty .

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a Deemed University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and was established in the year 1984. The Institute is accredited ‘Grade A’ by NAAC and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The students of VIT hails from almost 50 countries. VIT offers various Undergraduate, Integrated and Postgraduate courses in addition to Ph.D. and M.Phil research programs. With highest package of 35 Lpa with average package of 6.2 Lpa and as per previous record VIT has been a limca book record holder for assuring maximum number of job offers in a single day with it's placement drive. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, PWC are the highest payers and highest package was around 49 lpa last year. Also the placement rate is 99 % hence almost all people appearing for placements secure a job. But at this college B.Arch placement scenario is same .

If we go through both of them then both are holding are equal position ,so you can prefer any of one as per your interest.
