The difficulty level between GMAT and CAT depends on individual strengths. However, GMAT is preferred among students over CAT for its predefined syllabus and easier preparation structure. CAT has no defined syllabus and requires broader preparation. The quantitative section of the CAT is known among students for its high difficulty.
