Hey!

The minimum hours of sleep that you would require in order to make time for completing the syllabus totally depends on your ability and habit. If you suddenly start sleeping less, then it will just accumulate in fatigue and you would not be able to concentrate well in your studies. It is important for a candidate to be well in terms of health as well having a proper sleep schedule.

Below mentioned are some of the preparation tips for exam:

  • You must first complete the previous topics before moving on.  Make sure you are first done with the fundamental concepts as they will form your basic knowledge about the subject.
  • You can make short notes on the topics you have covered already so you can just take a look at it.
  • It's very important to solve the JEE Mains sample papers and previous year question papers.
  • Revise what you have learned previously thoroughly.
  • You can make a schedule and work according to ensure you are up to date with your preparation.

Hello

According to Science a student should sleep minimum 6 to 8 hrs. in day but it totally depends on your capability if you think you are capable enough to take 3 to 4 hrs. in day without getting sick then you can go for it. And also you are thinking to do this for a very short period of time so I think you can do this but make sure one thing before doing this first you take care of your health then do it.

Thanks
