Hello dear student,

No not all iits provide single seater room to their students. Many have single rooms and many don't . While students of IIT Guwahati  have been accommodated in single-seater rooms. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities for sports and recreation such as satellite TV, indoor games and a gymnasium.

IIT Bombay
In first year You will be allotted relatively new hostels namely H-15,16
They have great rooms. 2 people will live in one room with 12 people sharing 2 bathrooms in a wing.

IIT DELHI
In first year You will be allotted hostels randomly. You may get an old hostel or a new hostel,its your luck.
2/3 people will live in one room. In small rooms 2 people will live.In a slighly bigger room total 3 people will live.

IIT ROORKEE
All the girls get double room in 1st year to last year.All Boys from 2nd year are allotted single room.
for first year students, boys of branch cse, ece and some of electrical get single room, and others get double room.

IIT MADRAS
STudents get 2/3 - in - one room in first year and single occupancy from 2nd year

IIT Guhawati
I heard that IIT Guwahati provides separate rooms for undergrads even for 1st year students.

IIT JODHPUR
1 room per person from 1st year to 4th year student.

IIT kharagpur
In IIT KHARAGPUR single, double and triple rooms are available for first year students

IIT Hyderabad
Be it PhD, M.Tech, B.Tech, Interns, Project Staff. Everyone has a single rom for them

IIT Kanpur
2/3 people will live in one room. In small rooms 2 people will live.In a slighly bigger room total 3 people will live.
