Hello sravanthi ,
To get in to IIT's ,one should get below 2000 rank and it also varies among the students based on caste ,number of students attended exam ,
Cutoff varies every year .
Irrespective of the caste ,you should have get atleast. Below 1000 rank so that you get in to iit's of your selected stream

Rank below 1000 meant estimated marks out of 100 would be how much ??

Means you should have atleast 70 to 90 range in marks

Hello Dear

Inorder to take the admission in the IITs based upon your GATE score you should have the alteast score of above 70+marks in the GATE entrance exam which will vary depending upon your category wise and no of aspirants wise cuttoff. Basically if your rank is near to the 300-500 then you have the better chances to get into the IITs based upon the cuttoff. Hi Aspirant,
Each IIT releases it's separate cutoff for GATE.
Also,they vary every year.There is not any specified marks or ranks which is required for m.tech admissions in IIT's through GATE.
