Hello Aspirant,

If you belongs to SC category and seeking admission in Government medical colleges for MBBS course then there are two ways either through state quota and other is through AIQ so if you go with state quota then you should try for at least 450+ marks but note that it might vary from state to state and if you go through AIQ then for GMCs you need around 500+ marks and for AIIMS or JIPMER like institutions you should target your NEET 2021 score around 590-600+ out of 720.

This is because last year we saw an increase of around 25-30 marks in institutional cut-offs in 2020.

If you are preparing for NEET 2021 then to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your expected marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hi

You have not mentioned your domicile state but your profile suggests that your domicile state is UP

Predicting the marks required to get a seat in a medical college is quite difficult but when we go through previous year trends then

In neet 2019 , 415 marks for sc category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks  that got an mbbs seat in a government medical college under UP state quota  and it was for Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

But yes,

cut  off   marks / rank   for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by students  in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.

So ,  you should try to get at least around 50 marks  more in comparison of Neet 2019 in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should try to get at least around 475 marks.

Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet

Thank you
