As the system of marking is based on the number of students appeared for a session or the difficulty level of the exam question paper of that session, highest marks obtained etc, so it is difficult to predict the actual rank. To secure a rank under 1000 in Jee Main, you should score at least 99.5 percentile. You have to score above 260 if you belong to general category to get 1000 rank. If you belong to other reserved category then a score above 230 will help you get that much rank.
