Dear Aishwarya, Tamilnadu has one of the highest cut offs due to the reputation of the Medical colleges and students appearing in NEET. In 2018, under All India Quota, 453 marks secured a seat in Government Medical College, Tirunelveli. 599 marks secured a seat in Madras Medical College. 453 was the least marks and 599 was the highest marks that got a seat in All India Quota under General Category. Under State Quota, 655 marks were the highest and secured a medical seat in Madras Medical College. 593 was the least marks and secured a seat in Rajah Muthiah Medical College under General Category. However, cut offs keep changing every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of candidates appearing in NEET, no.of seats available, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Keeping in mind these scores, you should atleast score 50-75 marks more.
