In Karnataka, from the session 2019-20 a new college called Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital is said to start in Bengaluru with an intake of 150 seats.

Also there will be increase in intake of VIMS Bellary and Mysore Medical College. Both these colleges had requested for approval of 100 more seats and they have got the approval but there is still not a big official confirmation of no. of seats increased in these colleges. Hence, expectation of 300-400 more seats for medical candidates in Karnataka can be increased.
