CAT exam preparation tooks 8to 10 months. First you have to know the syllabus and list out on paper subjects wise. Then make preparation chart for daily with concept wise.

Daily practice and make notes.after completion of one subject device it once or twice then you also go through online mock tests


You practice and focus daily within 6 months you can prepare and revice also.watch subject videos also for motivation

For this question the answers will be very subjective. The time required to crack depends upon your ability and interest to crack it. On an average 8-10 months are enough to be well prepared to crack CAT.

Time required to prepare for CAT also depends upon your study group, if all are willing to crack and prepare accordingly you will be one of them to crack the CAT.

It also depends upon the books and videos that you refer because an easily explained concept will take less time to understand and vice versa.

Ask as many students who cracked as possible and make your own technique and study plan and work accordingly. Study plans will give you an overall about how many months preparation you will need to do.

Do not compare yourself with others as everybody has their own different pace of learning and do keep motivating yourself by talking to students of various IIM.
