Hello Aspirant .

There is no definate answer to this question. The basic of every question that appears in JEE main examination lies in NCERT books but the question are more advanced form of it.

For someone who only prepares from NCERT for JEE main, it would be really tough for him/her to clear the cut-off percentile in that examination as JEE main test the vast knowledge of both theoretical and numerical form of a student.
