For the most coveted medical entrance exam ie NEET , close to 13.36 lakh candidates have registered this year, reported Hindustan Times. 2 lakh more candidates have registered for NEET 2018 in comparison to last year. Over 60000 medical seats are available in the country for MBBS and BDS courses. With such growing popularity, medical aspirants, who are for this national level medical entrance examination, are ought to face a tough competition. For every single seat, a student has to outdo 22 competitors. NEET 2018 will be held on May 6 in various centres across the country.

This year, around 13,36,000 candidates have applied for the pre-medical and dental examination. There are 66,000 seats are on offer for the admission in government, government-aided and private colleges. Last year, around 11.5 candidates had enrolled for the NEET 2017 exam.
