If your domicile is west Bengal then only your category matters for WBJEE counselling but if you are from outside west Bengal all are on the same scale.
Now there is no any restriction for no. of particular candidate apply for WBJEE anyone who want to apply can apply for it .
Everything depends upon your performance in exam.

Around 40 % students who apply to wbjee are the ones that belong to SC category regardless of the fact that around 50 % seats in west bengal are reserved for the minorities as a token of privilidge to them. If you have scored high enough these things dont matter this just adds on to the rank and getting one of your choice in the first counselling session thats it!
