NILD, National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangjan) is an oganization for locomotor disabilities since1978. It is autonomous body under the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
Now, BPt or Bachelor of Physiotherapy  is an undergraduate programme, 4 years long including 6 months of compulsory clinical internship. It deals with the science and structure of human body and mainly is concerned on preventing disabilities and disorders of movement.
National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities has around 30 seats for candidates willing to pursue BPt.
