Every year according to trends, more than 10,000 students sit for the entrance examination for IP. There are no official numbers specifically for BA hons English but the number is pretty high  and the amount of seats they offer are usually around 52. You need to get a good score in the exam for a confirmed seat since the competition is fairly there.
