Don't know about Karnataka. But injustice of seats prevails. For MBBS and BDS seats around approximately 12 lakh students appeared and 6.11 lakh qualified. Approximately 6 lakhs just filtered out of the club

The total number of students appeared for NEET 2017 was 11,38,890 in India. The students qaulified was 6,11,539. The total students appeared for NEET 2017 from Karnatak was around 70,000.
