Since JEE is become the basic exam to qualify and get admission in various reputed Engineering colleges. As there are two attempts possible for JEE to improve your score but for that one has to give the JEE Mains in January (compulsory). The answer that you are searching for the number of students are going to appear in JEE mains for January session 2020 expect the number in lakhs. we do not have the data at that how many number of students have registered for the exam and this data will only be available after the registration closes or after the exam that is is the daughter will be out how many number of students have appeared in the exam. So to know about it you have to wait till the exam happens but you can expect the numbers to be really high ..

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), a total of 9,35,741 students had registered fro JEE Main 2019 exams for BE/B.Tech courses and 1,69,767 students had registered for the B Arch/B Planning courses. And in general 9 lakh + candidates appear for the examination.
