Hope you are doing well. Every year, about 1.2 lakhs to 1.8 lakh students appear for WBJEE. It is difficult to compete with such a large number of students. So in order to get a seat in good government colleges through WBJEE, you need to secure a rank within 5000 for a safer side. There is no perfect news or official announcement for number of students appeared for WBJEE this year. But it will be within the above mentioned range.
