I think this may be useful to you .

An article in the Hindustan times said that this year also the West Bengal students performed only in the race of getting into the IIT's.

this year over 20,000 students appeared for JEE mains and only 3,000 students qualified for JEE advanced . Over past years it was examined that West Bengal has poor performance in the examinations
