Candidates can apply maximum three times for JEE Mains exam, students can appear two times for the entrance exam in a year.
So, the total number of attempts from 2019 onwards the number of attempts will be Six.
Besides this, in class 12th candidates need to secure 75 % of marks and for SC/ST category candidates secure 65% of marks in 12th class.

Originally you have a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. You can appear twice for entrance test in a year. So, this if used in correlation with the original number of atempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be six. And you have two attempts in cosecutive years for JEE Advanced.
