As per rules and as per my knowledge. After 3 years of bachelor in science you can get lateral entry in 2nd year of Btech. And it's the same case with Diploma. So if you have done BSc or Diploma you can get admission Through lateral entry In 2nd year. As most of the important courses Are taught from 2nd year and 1st is more over same for all and pretty basic.
