It is usually of 5 years course....... And u also have to post graduation MDS after this 5 year course for upgrading your course and increasing the value of BDS....

Bachelor of dental surgery is 5 years course. It's an undergraduate degree. In 5 years, 4 years is meant for academic education and 1 year is for internship. Completing internship is considered compulsory. After completing BDS, you can pursue your post graduation i.e, MDS.
