The duration of MBBS is 5.5 years. However, you will study the course for only 4.5 years and the last year is for internships and practical trainings where students are trained to the real world responsibilities and duties of a doctor. Tuition fee is applicable for 4.5 years. However, it depends on private institution whether you have to pay for internship or not. So it is recommended to check the website of the institution and clarify this doubt.
