The cutoff ranks vary from branch to branch. However the previous years closing ranks for NIT Trichy (SC- home state) for some of the top branches are given below:

Civil Engineering- 6860
Computer Science and Engineering- 1624
Electronics and Communication Engineering- 2147
Mechanical Engineering- 3508
Mettalurgical and Material Engineering- 8397
Chemical Engineering- 5327
