There will not be any major change in the cutoff of the DU this year for ews students. According to ews criteria, almost 90% of the students will be eligible for the subsidies, therefore it won't affect the final cutoff that much. However, you might get a small advantage over the other students who do not fall under this category. 

But the difference will not be like any ews can get into shaheed Bhagat Singh with 90% and other with 95%. Maybe the scenario would be like 95% and 94.5%
