Most colleges of Bangalore provide proper facilities for living. Rooms, food and other facilities are satisfactory. When it comes to PG, there are a lot of PGs available. Find a suitable one. There isn't a huge difference just see where you find yourself comfortable.

There is no much difference in living in hostel or pg and the living cost be similar so it depends upon you where you want to live
