The government provides a stipend of 12,400 to all the candidates who goes for mtech course by clearing gate exam.

There are also different ways of getting scholarship, such as some depends upon your category sich as e-kalyan etc. There are others ways as well like you can assist the professors also to get some stipend.

The stipend currently here is Rs. 12400 per month for M. Techs. The stipend is cut off if you fail in any subject till you clear it, in which case you will get all the stipend at once. The food and cost of living is very low and it is very easy to live a comfortable life and save enough money for paying the next sem fees. The only point of worry would be the first semester fees as it is taken at the time of admission. And for that too, the on campus SBI provides excellent student loans that you can clear easily.
