You need to score more then 150 marks in JEE Main exam to get top NITs under general category and other state quota. Cut-off vary according to the branches.

For CSE branch you need to get more than 230 marks to get top NITs in general category other state quota.

To get admission in top NITs and in top branches like CS, ME, ECE,EE you will have to get 230-250 marks as this will be the safest score to reserve seat there. So plan and prepare accordingly so that you can easily achieve your goal.
