Hi Yash,

All the books or NCERT are outstanding. It contains all the contents but in a short, complex manner ( other refrence books just elaborate and extend the concepts). Every year several questions vome in JEE Main which have been extracted directly from NCERT.

Now coming to your query i would say that it totally depends on how nicely you have understood the concepts and have their in-depth knowledge. The better you understand NCERT, the more it will be easy for you to write JEE Main. Chemistry is the most for JEE Main. For physics and chemistry you should do refrence books too. Read NCERT thoroughly and you will see the results while answering JEE Main questions in mock test and in original JEE Main as well.

Hope you are doing well

If you study ncert only for chemistry then you can score good in chemistry but for physics and mathematics ncert is not sufficient for good rank. We know that we need very high speed and accuracy for jee mains. For physics and mathematics you need material of any coaching .

Thank you

Yash, NCERT covers whole syllabus of JEE Mains. If you are thorough with your NCERT book and all concepts are clear then you can easily score 250 marks in your exam for the rest go through past year papers and complete mock test to understand the exam pattern and level of the exam.
