2018 - As per the seat matrix released by the state government, only 12 of the 100 seats in the college were available for open category students - rest all were reserved ( 3 SC/ST, 1 MCI/Central Government nomination and 84 for church sponsored candidates).

Out of 12 open seats - The first student to pick CMC was Raj Chendur Abhishek with with a NEET score of 656. The last student to get admission in CMC under open category was Nanditha Vinodh S, who had a NEET score of 595.
