Greetings,

It is with utter disappointment that I inform you that it is impossible to determine the cut off marks for a particular state in the examination. Candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination may refer to previous years' cut off marks as a whole for the examination but not for any particular state as such.

There are two ranks provided to each of the candidates appearing for the examination. One is the All India Rank and the other is the Regional or State Rank. Candidates may choose from either of the two in order to test their eligibility for admission to any of the medical colleges spread across the country.

The cut off marks varies from year to year and so only an approximate can be determined from the evaluation of previous years' cut off.

I hope this piece of information proves to be of some help to you.

Dear Paras,

There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a good medical college.

If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -

Clear your basic concepts.

Be thorough with NCERT textbook. Its a must.

Solve previous year question papers.

Take mock tests to assess your progress.

Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams

Solve as much as numerical possible.

Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.

All the best.

Try to have score of 570+ marks in neet ug, to get a mbbs seat in Lala lajpat rai memorial medical college meerut ,through all india quota seat counselling under general category..

Good luck.

Hey Paras,

  • The NEET 2017 Cut off for General Category for  LLRM, Meerut under AI Quota for OR : 1401 and CR: 1992. This was for the First Round.

  • For the Second Round, under OR, Rank 2892 secured the last seat and Rank 5017 secured a seat under CR.

  • These ranks corresponds to scores between 520-570 out of 720 marks in NEET 2017.

  • Based on these trends, you should focus on securing a score above 550+ to be absolutely sure to secure a seat in LLRM.

  • Focus on your preparations now. Give your best and try to score the highest possible. All the very best for your preparations.

In 2017, 5018 was the last rank to get admission in LLRM. Marks were around 520. So if trends don't change much, try to score more than this. A score of around 550 would be safe.

All the best.
