hello aspirant,

Admission to top btech colleges are usually done through JEE advance and JEEmains .as it fetches you seat in top colleges we cant expect them to be easy.As of now its tough to predict what type of questions you can get in the paper.however formula based questions will be very less percentage in these exams.each year questions format may change very less percentage of questions format can be repeated but no guarantee in that.so you can focus on weightage of the syllabus instead of just learning the formulas.formulas are useful in the concept based questions, but DIRECT FORMULA BASED are hardly 1-2 % if paper is medium level.but you need to know the formulas to solve the problems in concept based questions.in chemistry you an expect questions from ncert based on theory.so go through syllabus and also weightage wise.

for more information about the weightage in jeemains you can refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Hi Aspirant,

Since most of the question in JEE Main is concept based many few questions you can expect from direct formula based.According to last years statistics only 5-7% of questions come from direct formula implementation from Physics and Chemistry and about 10% of question from Mathematics.

Hope it helps!!
