Hello,
The KCET merit list and rank will be depending on two factors.

Marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of KCET examination.
Marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of Class 12th.

The overall marks scored by candidates in Class 12th and KCET will be normalized to determine the merit rank. Based on the overall normalised score, KEA will release the overall merit list for KCET.

So, to get a good rank in KCET, you need to score good marks in both your class 12th and the KCET exam.
