Since there is less number oshan seats in PSU so 100 to 150 rank can ensure you a PSU, if you belong to general category. But for category people it extends more and that depends on the students having close rank in their respective categories.

However this time a huge vaccancy is announced by BSNL and also some other companies has decided to recruit though GATE, so there is good chance in Gate2017.

Yeah, almost all PSU take interview of their candidates bit the weightage of gate score and interview score vary.
