Getting a job in google will be in your hands. You can try for it otherwise too. Just check their careers section and see what their criteria is. You can write to them also. As far as I know google hasn't come to VIT Vellore this year or any private universities. Apple for the first time is reportedly coming this year to IIIT Hyd which also takes JEE Main scores. So you see this changes from year to year. Google doesnt come every year to all these universities. So that I feel is the wrong approach. You may have to get a rank below 5000 at least to even have a chance at CSE as it is one of the most sought out branches at most of the popular NITs. I suggest that you aim for that, get into the NIT and then see. Who knows you may get even a better placement? all the best!

You should try to score more then 240 marks in JEE Main to get CSE branch in Top NITs under general category other state quota.
