How much should i score in mains to get CS in nit's

The ranks for CS generally close down well below 2000 at topnotch NITs.

Hence, an AIR2000 or ranks under it, correpsond roughly arround 285-315 marks as an approximate range.

Hence, anywhere a score of above 285 will incrrase your probability to secure seats into CS at top NITs.

NITs don't accept Jee Advanced, but only JEE Mains.

The above-mentioned range of marks is an approximation, because this varies every year as per trends, number of students applied and difficulty level of paper.

You can alternatively try IT Specialization at top NITs like Surathkal, Warangal, etc since, IT is almost equivalent to CS and compiles curriculum more or less similar to CS.
