Scoring 170 in Jee Mains..
First U can ask yourself how dedicated you are..
170 in Jee Mains is not at all strenuous keeping in mind the duration of 4 long months..
But I think 170 in Mains couldn't fetch you a good Nit with a choicable branch of yours..
Keeping in mind the present scenario..So I would recommend you to perceive a higher score as target..maybe between 205–215..
Which would suffice your exigency..
According to me, In order to achieve a score above 200, you should start practicing the NCERT problems..and never overlook them..
Chemistry is the easiest part of Mains and way more mark scoring..As 90% questions are basic NCERT level..So u can easily score 100+ in Chemistry section..
Mathematics lies in the province of mediocrity.. questions are neither too tough nor too easy..So I would recommend you to practice questions from NCERT sampler book..as questions there ,are little bit above NCERT standard.. solving RD Sharma is a good option though..If adopted and practised thoroughly.. this section would fetch you.. easily a score of 50–60+..
Now comes the toughest part of Mains..i.e.Physics section..Here questions are way above the NCERT level..and they mostly focus on your concepts and not on your problem solving skills..So I would recommend you to go through Concepts of Physics by HC Verma … If practiced in a sincere way, this section could easily fetch you a score of 50+..
So finally my Verdict..
