Admission to VIT Pune is done by two methods:

1. JEE MAIN
2. MHT CET

You have to fill out the state-level counselling. If you have a score that is enough for getting into this college, you will be selected.

Eligibility Criteria:

Passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) in the subjects mentioned above.

Admission Procedure:

• Candidates based in Maharashtra must appear for MH CET.
• Candidates from other states may appear for JEE Main/ MH CET and have a valid score. It must be noted that candidates having valid JEE Main scorecards will be given preference.
• Candidates must appear for the state-level counselling and choose VIT Pune as their choice
• Candidates must verify their documents at designated centers.
• During the process of counseling, candidates are allotted the streams based on the rank obtained in JEE Main/ MH CET.
• Candidates can lock their choice of stream in their designated college or choose to upgrade it in upcoming counseling rounds.
• After the counseling round, the candidate needs to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission procedure and pay the admission fees for final admission.
