NATA Counselling Procedure 2018

Candidate needs to undergo NATA 2018 Counselling Process for a particular university he/she wishes to apply in. During the Counselling, a candidate is required to register and fill the choice of seats. Once the filling of choices is completed, document verification process will start. Candidates must carry Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets along with NATA 2018 Scorecard for verification. Additional documents like reservation certificate and date of birth certificate must also be carried to the counselling center. A candidate is required to report to their allocated institute with the necessary documents.

Admissions to various institutions through NATA 2018

It must be noted that appearing for NATA 2018 and obtaining a valid NATA 2018 Score Card doesn’t entitle to admissions in various Architecture colleges. NATA 2018 is just a centralized aptitude test for admission to Architecture course. Any institute that is recognized by AICTE must obtain approval of CoA (Council of Architecture). Thus, NATA 2018 is the compulsory exam as per the guidelines given by CoA.

Appear for the state university exam or the exam conducted by the particular university along with the NATA 2018 for admissions. The candidate must obtain a valid score card in both. The total score of the candidate will be calculated by considering 50% marks from the State Board/ any other qualifying examination with Mathematics as one subject and 50% marks obtained in the NATA 2018.

The candidate is required to contact the institutes personally for admissions in case no other qualifying examination is required apart from NATA 2018.

The candidate must carry Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets separately along with the printout of the NATA 2018 scorecard to the Institute for admission to the architecture program.

The NATA 2018 Score Card is considered valid only if the candidate scores a minimum of 25% marks i.e. 50/200 in NATA 2018.
