NITs are preferred by a lot of students due to a multitude of reasons. NITs also have comparatively lenient eligibility criteria than the other institutes.

Most of the NITs have their own entrance tests and admission is based in the marks obtained in this entrance test. Many students also use their JAM scores to get admission in different NITs.

To apply in any of the NITs, one has to fill the online form and submit all their personal detail and marks and ranks (if applicable).

Most probably the online application process is closed now. You have to follow the official website of the NIT you are interested in and send out emailsor call the officials to obtain accurate information regarding the same.
