How to become a radiologist ? can i become a radiologist after doing bsc in radiology and imagning technology??

Hello,

Radiologists are medical doctors (MDs) who have completed a 4-year study in radiology. A candidate for MD or MS in Radiology must hold a qualified MBBS degree and have successfully completed the internship. The MD or MS programme lasts two years. Candidates can choose to specialize in radiography, radiodiagnosis, radio imaging, and many other fields.

Radiologist age restrictions range from 18 to 30 years old. There are five years of relaxation for employees of the government.

This is what you will need to do in order to become a radiologist -

First, a candidate must have successfully completed the 12th grade with a cumulative grade point average of 55 and have taken the required PCB course. The three years of the graduate programme.

The candidate may enrol in a post-graduate course following graduation. It takes two years to complete this course. deals in the specialty after graduating. The candidate has a choice of radiology specialisations. A radiologist will have higher work options after completing the post-graduate programme.

To get enrolled in this course you need to crack any of the entrance exams listed below.

  • All India Institute of Medical Science Radiography Entrance
  • The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Science Radiography Entrance Exam
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Education

You need to prepare for these exams by thoroughly going through the syllabus. It is a promising field with a lucrative payment.

Complete your 10+2.

Earn your bachelor's degree.

Complete your residency.

Enrol for a postgraduate course.

Enter a fellowship program.

and offcourse after completing bsc in radiology, you become a radiologist.

you can't be called as a radiologist after completing imagning technology degree.
