how to calculate tnea engineering cutoff 2021 for tn students

Hello David!!

Engineering cutoff for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is calculated based upon the formula as follows,

Cutoff = M + (P/2) + ( C/2)

where, M stands for maths mark, P stands for Physics mark and C stands for Chemistry mark.

For example,

Maths mark = 95, Physics mark = 93, Chemistry mark= 97, then the cutoff is

Cutoff = 95 + (93/2) + (97/2)

= 95 + 46.5 + 48.5 = 190

So the cutoff is 190 out off 200.
