he CLAT results are based on the marks you score in the online test. Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
Thus, your marks will be the deciding factor for your rank.
The marks difference could be even in decimals and your rank could be effected by that.
As per your marks and your references, the allotment starts and based on seats available in the college starting from Bangalore, you are allotted a college. the rank, it’s just score based.
For Eg. If you get 151 marks and are rank 1, then you would be allotted Bangalore of whatever you filled in your preference list. And then, the marks lower gets the next ranks and then, it goes on till the seats are filled and then allotment lists are made out 1 after other.
